Last reviewed 07/2021
Miller-Fisher syndrome is a rare variant of Guillain-Barre syndrome comprising:
- ataxia
- ophthalmoplegia
- areflexia
Like the Guillain-Barre, the Miller-Fisher syndrome is a post-infective polyneuropathy, with the nerves supplying the ocular muscles most often affected.
It has a good prognosis.
