FFP contains high levels of all coagulation proteins plus:
- sodium - 170 mmol/l
- potassium - 4 mmol/l
- glucose - 22 mmol/l
- citrate - 20 mmol/l
- lactate - 3 mmol/l
- pH - 7.2-7.4
The specified minimum level of factor VIII is 0.7 i.u./ml.
