tendon of the infundibulum (heart, anatomy)
Last reviewed 01/2018
The tendon of the infundibulum is part of the fibrous skeleton of the heart. It runs subendocardially from the region intermediate to the right and left pulmonary valve leaflets to the region of the annulus supporting the anterior aortic valve leaflet. It provides a connection and support between the pulmonary and aortic valves.
