Fibroangiomas are usually seen in adults where they cause epistaxis. They are seen as friable, pedunculated lesions in Little's area. Treatment is surgical.

Angiomas are usually seen in children. They are angiomatous malformations arising from the maxillary or ethmoid sinuses. They may cause profuse epistaxis. Management includes:

• common carotid angiography - to assess blood supply
• surgical excision
