dyspraxia (dressing)
Last reviewed 11/2022
A dressing dyspraxia is an inability to perform the relatively complex task of dressing and is commonly associated with lesions of the non-dominant parietal hemisphere.
It can be tested by taking the patient's pyjama top, turning it inside out and asking for it to be put back on. The patient with dressing dyspraxia / apraxia is unable to this.
