Causes of gastrointestinal ulceration include:
- non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
- doxycycline } may cause
- emepronium bromide (anticholinergic } oesophageal used in bladder detrusor instability) } ulceration
- ascorbic acid }
- spironolactone has been linked with the development of peptic ulceration
