Hepatic haemangiosarcomata are highly vascular and highly malignant tumours. Fortunately, they are rare.

They are associated with exposure to:

  • vinyl chloride monomers
  • thorotrast
  • arsenic

Patients present with:

  • hepatomegaly
  • right hypochondrial pain
  • blood-stained ascites
  • bruit over the liver
