abulia

Abulia is a mild form of akinetic mutism in which the patient is hypokinetic and slow to respond, but generally, gives correct answers when questioned. It often results from lesions of the anterior and frontal lobes, especially the medial and orbital parts, and may be caused by Binswanger's disease.
