The typical features of familial dysbetalipoproteinaemia are:
- fatty deposits in the palmar creases of the hands
- tuberous xanthomata
- occasionally, eruptive xanthomata
There is an increased risk of:
- coronary heart disease
- peripheral vascular disease
- cerebrovascular disease
