The vascular supply of the diaphragm can be divided into arterial and venous divisions:
- arterial supply:
- inferior phrenic arteries
- musculophrenic artery
- pericardiophrenic artery
- lower 4-5 intercostal arteries: for the diaphragmatic margins
- subcostal arteries: diaphragmatic margins
- venous supply:
inferior phrenic arteries (anatomy)
musculophrenic arteries (anatomy)
