complications of neonatal meningitis

The complications of neonatal meningitis are present in 50% of survivors and are severe in 30%. They include:
- mental handicap
- seizures
- hydrocephalus
- cerebral palsy
- deafness
- blindness
mental handicap (previously used term now replaced by learning disability)
