dyspepsia and cisapride

In patients in whom a definite cause for dyspeptic symptoms has been excluded after investigation - non-ulcer dyspepsia - upper gastrointestinal tract dysmotility may be the cause. In such groups, cisapride may substantially improve symptoms when compared with placebo(1).
