• mouth ulcers
• fever
• nausea
• vomiting
• loss of taste, which may resolve with continued use
• myasthenic syndrome
• Goodpasture's syndrome
• glomerulonephritis
• SLE-like syndrome
• polymyositis
• thrombocytopaenia
• pancytopaenia
• haemolytic anaemia
