Small lesions usually present with a sensation of something getting stuck in the throat.
Large lesions usually present with:
- dysphagia - first for solids, then for liquids
- weight loss
- dysphonia - either from direct invasion of larynx or as a result of vocal cord paralysis from recurrent larygneal nerve involvement
- otalgia
Neck nodes may be palpable.
