bacterial stomatitis

A degree of bacterial stomatitis commonly accompanies a sore throat due to Streptococcus.
Otherwise bacterial stomatitis is uncommon. Examples include:
- Vincent's angina
- tuberculous stomatitis
- very rare
- appears as a shallow ulcer
- syphilitic stomatitis
- primary syphilis appears as a chancre
- secondary syphilis appears as a snail-track ulcer
