Behavioural responses to decrease relative warmth in Man include:
- reduction of movement: reduced heat production from muscle metabolism
- reduced food intake: less heat production from the metabolism of food
- wear less clothes: fewer layers to insulate body heat
- increase fluid intake: increases water for evaporative heat loss
- applying cold water to skin: bathing, showering increase conduction of heat away from skin
- move out of direct sunlight: away from heat source
