lobar bronchus (left inferior lobe)

The left inferior lobe bronchus is a branch of the left principal bronchus beyond the hilum of the left lung within the lung parenchyma. It supplies the left inferior lobe and divides into five segmental bronchi:
- apical segmental bronchus; supplies apical bronchopulmonary segment
- medial basal segmental bronchus; supplies medial basal bronchopulmonary segment
- anterior basal segmental bronchus; supplies anterior basal bronchopulmonary segment
- lateral basal segmental bronchus; supplies lateral basal bronchopulmonary segment
- posterior basal segmental bronchus; supplies posterior basal bronchopulmonary segment
apical segmental bronchus (left inferior lobe)
medial basal segmental bronchus (left inferior lobe)
anterior basal segmental bronchus (left inferior lobe)
