Dextrocardia without situs inversus and levocardia with situs inversus are almost always associated with severe malformations

that include various combinations of:

  • single ventricle
  • arterial transposition
  • pulmonary stenosis
  • ventricular and atrial septal defects
  • anomalous pulmonary venous drainage
  • tricuspid and pulmonary atresia
