ulnar club hand

Ulnar dysplasia or ulnar club hand is a congenital disruption in the formation of the ulnar side of the hand and forearm. There are a broad clinical spectrum of abnormalities Generally, the wrist is stable but the elbow is unstable.

It is roughly one-tenth as common as radial dysplasia, is more likely to be unilateral and is less associated with clinical syndromes.

Treatment entails early splintage and physiotherapy with surgery for more severe forms.
