conditions and presentations when serological Coeliac disase screening should be considered

NICE suggest various presentations/conditions when serological testing should be considered but is not mandatory.
The list of conditions where coeliac disease serological screening should be considered includes:
- metabolic/endocrine disorders:
- Addison's disease
- amenorrhoea
- metabolic bone disease (such as rickets or osteomalacia)
- microscopic colitis
- reduced bone mineral density
- autoimmune disorders:
- autoimmune liver conditions
- autoimmune myocarditis
- Sjögren's syndrome
- chronic thrombocytopenia purpura
- chromosomal disorders:
- Down's syndrome
- Turner syndrome
- presenting features that might prompt serological coeliac disease screening
- low-trauma fracture
- dental enamel defects
- aphthous stomatitis (mouth ulcers)
- persistent or unexplained constipation
- persistently raised liver enzymes with unknown cause
- polyneuropathy
- recurrent miscarriage
- depression or bipolar disorder
- unexplained alopecia
- unexplained subfertility
- other conditions;
- epilepsy
- lymphoma
- sarcoidosis
- microscopic colitis
