migraine and stroke in young women: case-control study

This case-control study included 291 women, aged 20-44, who had suffered an ischaemic or haemorrhagic stroke and compared them with 736 age and hospital-matched controls.
A questionaire was completed by each patient concerning headaches and the presence of putative risk factors for stroke.
