moderate cases of bronchiectasis

These include:

  • a constant rattly cough
  • green sputum most of time
  • occasional haemoptysis
  • possible bad breath
  • the patient is usually well
  • normal pulmonary function
  • clubbing is a rare finding
  • crackles normally present - classically localized persistent coarse crepitations
  • chest radiograph is often normal
