Palpitations with a strong normal rate are most frequently due to anxiety. The patients understand that when they are anxious they produce more adrenaline which makes their heart beat stronger.
Other causes include:
- drugs:- - sympathomimetics such as: - adrenaline - ephidrine - pseudoephrine
- sudden vasodilation
- exercise
- perimenopausal vasomotor instability
- dumping syndrome
