- raised intracranial pressure:
- space-occupying lesions:
- tumours, primary and secondary
- abscesses
- haematoma
- hydrocephalus:
- any space-occupying lesion
- subarachnoid haemorrhage
- meningitis
- head injury
- venous sinus thrombosis
- benign intracranial hypertension
- malignant hypertension
- central retinal vein occlusion
