- retinal artery embolism
- retinal vein thrombosis
- vitreous haemorrhage
- temporal arteritis
- retinal detachment
- optic neuritis
- migraine
- acute glaucoma
Sudden loss of vision is an ophthalmological emergency and requires immediate referral to the eye emergency department.
