- most common presentation is that of restrictive cardiomyopathy
- other presentations include:
- biventricular 'diastolic' cardiac failure
- apparent angina, myocardial infarction
- mimics constrictive pericarditis
- rhythm disturbances
- heart block
Note that there may be increased digoxin sensitivity in cardiac amyloidosis (digoxin binds to amyloid fibrils).
