hypothenar eminence

The hypothenar eminence comprises:
- abductor digiti minimi
- flexor digiti minimi
- opponens digiti minimi
These muscles help to cup the palm and assist in grip of a large object. They are supplied by the ulnar nerve - T1. The hypothenar space is a potential compartment enclosing the hypothenar muscles.
